Welcome to the Yosemite Kennel Club website.
The objectives of Yosemite Kennel Club shall be to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs,
To conduct Obedience Trials, Rally Trials, Sanctioned Matches and Licensed Shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
And to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of all purebred dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at Dog Shows, Matches, Obedience and Rally Trials.
We offer an annual all breed dog show, featuring 152 breeds of dogs, beginning at 8 am each day. We have several vendors that offer everything you could want for your dog, custom items for yourself, dog health products, and dog food vendors.These vendors work hard to bring you items you won't find anywhere else.
Good food and drinks are available too. This event is open to the public, plan a fun day at the fairgrounds meeting all of the different breeds and shopping for yourself and your dog.
This show offers conformation, obedience and rally events daily.
Yosemite Kennel Club offers training classes to the public for both obedience and conformation, as weather permits.
During the month of September each year, we host a Responsible Dog Owners Day at the
Merced Fairgrounds, open to the public. There are several demonstrations, police dog,
flyball, agility, canine good citizen testing, microchipping , meet the breeds, low cost
vaccinations , a childrens corner and several games and contests for all. This event is
real fun for the entire family and bring your dog too.
